2024

Thread Together

Chouchou partnered with ThreadTogether to provide our pieces to vulnerable individuals and communities, including those affected by homelessness, domestic violence, and financial hardship. We donated 140 pairs of knickers to this inspiring cause.

ThreadTogether is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing new clothing to those in need across Australia. Through their innovative model, ThreadTogether aims to improve the well-being and dignity of recipients while also reducing textile waste and promoting sustainability in the fashion industry.

International Women's Day

To acknowledge International Women’s Day, $1 from every order placed on the 8th of March was donated to the Women's and Girls Emergency Centre.

2023

International Women's Day

This International Women's Day, for every Chouchou product purchased, we donated another to Support the Girls Australia - a charity committed to empowering women with dignity and respect, through the gift of fundamental necessities such as bras and underwear.

Every purchase directly helps women and girls reconnect to their power, ensuring everyone with breasts has the dignity of well-fitted bras and fresh underwear.

Support the Girls is the only charity in Australia that offers this face-to-face support for women who are either homeless, disenfranchised, victims of domestic violence or just struggling.

They believe that all women have a purpose and a skill, and strive to help them rediscover their merits, reinstate their creative capacity, and not only transform their relationship with themselves but their respective communities.

We could not be prouder to support such a worthy cause for International Women's Day this year!

Pride Month (ongoing)

In honour of our glorious LGBTQIA+ community, Chouchou is donating 20% of proceeds from each Pride embroidery purchase to Minus18 - an Australian charity working to create a world where LGBTQIA+ youth are safe, belong and are celebrated.

This is an ongoing commitment for every sale of these items moving forward and we plan to continue this connection in the future with new designs.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Once again, Chouchou donated $1 from every pink product sold in October to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help support their game-changing research. We raised just over $1000 and can only hope next year we can raise more for this beautiful cause.

2022

International Women's Day

For International Women's Day, Chouchou donated 10% of all sales on 8 March to YWCA Australia - an intersectional feminist organisation focused on working towards a future where gender equality is a reality for young women, women, and people of marginalised genders.

Funds raised help YWCA support women and their families who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, due to family and domestic violence.

2021

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Chouchou donated $1 from every pink product sold in October to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help support their game-changing research.

Due to the amazing work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation since its inception in 1994, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91%. Although progress is being made, there is still a long way to go! Their mission: ZERO deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

The NBCF receives no government funding, and relies on the support and generosity of the Australian community to help them change the statistics.

2020

Black Lives Matter

In June 2020, Chouchou stood in support with the worldwide response to George Floyd and the #blackouttuesday initiative by making donations to the Black Lives Matter Global Network and the Aboriginal Legal Services in recognition of injustices towards Indigenous Peoples within our own country of Australia.
